Sale & Purchase of Lots in a Community Title Scheme

Transfers of residential units constitute a large proportion of conveyancing practice making it essential for those involved in CTS sales & purchases to develop in depth knowledge of the fundamental steps and key considerations for conveyances of this type. Focusing on the Body Corporate & Community Management Act and the Building Units and Group Titles Act this session will look at representing clients for the sale of existing and proposed lots, implied warranties, undertaking body corporate specific searches and updating the body corporate roll.

This seminar will be presented by the Queensland Law Society and held as part of the Residential Conveyancing Conference 2008 on 8 May 2008 at the QLS, 179 Ann St, Brisbane between 2pm and 3pm. Contact CLE to register for this conference.
